We are currently seeking a Software Engineer with seasoned SAP functional experience, technical and domain expertise who is passionate about digital transformation and building world class engineering solutions in the Supply Chain Engineering team in Hyderabad, India.

As part of our SAP team, you will design, implement, deliver, and operate SAP solutions for Microsoft s Supply Chain Order Fulfillment & Logistics business processes. This position requires strong collaboration and teamwork across teams and organizational boundaries and ensuring that the solutions delivered are in alignment with the roadmap for current and future business scenarios.

Your ability to be the customer advocate and to focus on transforming end-to-end experience will be critical to your and the team s success. Your mission will be to deliver new capabilities to business while ensuring that our services are always on, always available and always evolving.

Our SAP Implementation

Our SAP implementation is a large-scale worldwide enterprise (ECC 6.0) system that comprises of SD, MM, AP, FI, Treasury, GTS, SCM, APO, HR, Payroll, MDM, BW/BI, Solution Manager modules and SaaS solutions such as Ariba, IBP and Success Factors. And our team has moved the platforms to Azure and is actively working on S/4 HANA implementations.

As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the following:

• Participate in requirements gathering process, design, development, and deployment of solutions by leveraging your SAP and domain expertise.
• Create detailed design of the end-to-end solution as per Microsoft architectural standards and SAP best practices.
• Following security-by-design principles, deliver required functionality with agility and quality according to Microsoft standards and in alignment with the roadmap following the SAFe process.
• Enhance the service capabilities by continuous improvements and innovation, develop strong partnership with business, product owner and service operations groups globally and ensure both excellence in design and delivery.
• Demonstrate livesite first culture by being accountable for the service health of critical service offerings and components.
• Ability to multi-task various projects and tasks with tight deliverables while keeping informed of existing and evolving SAP best practices, industry standards and surround technologies.
• Leverage livesite data and telemetry to make decisions and driving feedback into systems design and implementation.
• Strive for excellence in every aspect of your job including culture, communication, quality of deliverables, engineering practices, tools etc.
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

• Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
• 6 to 10 years of hands-on experience in configuration and customization of various business processes as an SAP SD or MM functional analyst.
• Exposure to LE and FI integrations along with good understanding of ABAP, databases, interfaces (ALE/EDI/IDoc, Proxy, RFC, REST API) and HANA technologies.
• Exposure to modern engineering tools and practices DevOps, Agile, DRI, livesite, monitoring and telemetry.
• Experience in working on large scale global enterprise implementations.
• Strong problem solving, troubleshooting skills along with sound judgement and decision-making. Ability to learn and grasp concepts quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to participate in a team environment and communicate effectively.
• Experience working in a global engineering model and collaborating with geographically diverse groups.
• Strong understanding of software life cycle methodology and information systems development and support.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred, not required:

• Experience in SAP S/4HANA Sales or Procurement.
• Experience in ABAP or other programming languages.
• Experience developing project plans and managing releases with a variety of SDLC methodologies such as Waterfall or Agile methodologies.

We are looking for a Software Engineer who is ready to be part of an Agile team, willing to experiment, deliver on a continuous basis and is focused on improving the customer experience. The ideal candidate should have deep experience in SAP SD/MM with good exposure to ABAP and interfaces.

Experience in global supply chain processes in Consumer Electronics industry or alike is a plus.
