Overall experience of 4-8 years working in Mainframe application support and/or development

Proficient in IBM Mainframe, COBOL, DB2, CICS, VSAM, MQ, and JCL

Must be experienced with all types of transmissions and encryptions from IBM zOS mainframe like FTP, SFTP, EDI, NDM, MFT, PGP

Experience in Visio, Stored Procedures, SQL Server, XML, Quality Centre highly desired

Expectations:

Codes and performs unit and integration testing of software to ensure proper and efficient execution and adherence to business and technical requirements

Codes, tests, and debugs new software or makes enhancements to existing software

Writes programs according to specifications from higher-level staff or business analysts

Develops technical documentation
