Job Title: QA Engineer
Location: New Delhi
Status: Full-Time

Overview of Role
This individual is responsible for ensuring that every piece of software that goes out of the company is error free and maintains high quality standards. It would be key responsibility of the individual to understand the company application stack and co-ordinate with other QA team members. He will be required to work closely with the development team and provide them inputs on the User Interface of the applications.

Principal Responsibilities and Accountabilities
1.Analyze and understand the requirements.
2.Prepare Project Test Plan
3.Writing and executing test cases
4.Performing Regression Testing
5.Result recording, reporting and analysis
6.Replication of customer issues for the development team
7.Automated testing and design of automated testing
8.Issue reporting and tracking using any of the bug tracking tools like bugzilla, request tracker and others.
9.Interact with cross-functional teams and maintain high quality standards.
10.Adhere to the company Quality Management System.

1.Fluency in English.
2.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
3.Excellent teamwork skills.
4.Excellent attention to detail, quality and control.
5.Negotiations skills.
6.Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.

Required experience and knowledge
1.Minimum of 2years of experience as a QA engineer.
2.B.E., B. Tech, MCA or equivalent degree from a reputed institute.
3.Exposure to Black-box, white-box and integration testing.
4.Exposure to web application and desktop application testing.
5.2+ years of experience in a job in the software industry.
6.Exposure open source technologies like PHP, MySQL, Linux will be an added advantage.
7.Exposure to test automation tools like Selenium will be an added advantage.
8.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
