Qualification:

B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering or Equivalent.
Prepare and update the P&IDs (Piping and instrumentation diagrams) & PFDs (Process flow diagrams) for all the plant processes
Prepare & modify the SOPs (Standard operating procedures) & changes thereof as per requirements
Initiate MOC (Management of change), What IF, PSSR (Pre-startup safety reviews), HIRA (Hazard identification and risk assessment) as per process requirement in the plant
Prepare & maintain the documentation for various HAZOP (Hazard operability) studies and follow-up for the implementation of recommendations
Conduct RCAs (root cause analysis) for incidents if any, and to work on the implementation of the findings with team
Contribute towards new projects as per the process requirement w.r.t. planning, detailing & execution
Ensure the adherence of all the process safety parameters.
