Job Description

Job Title: Regional Trainer Product & Process
Grade : Asst.Manager
Reporting to: Competence Manager at HO
Relationships Internal, Functional: Heads and Employees
Relationships External: Traders, Service centers

Role

  • We are seeking a candidate with 8 to 12 years or more of field services & product management experience in Consumer Durables/ FMCG Industry preferably with core experience in handling Franchisee service centers for Training & hands on repairs in consumer durables/ electronics.
  • The role will have to do monitoring of product Quality & manpower quality at field level, Classroom training for Service partners, Technical Audit of service Franchisees processes & monitoring of service related
  • Data analytics of the product related failure and report the defect pareto, Service Call rate & Defect call rate for product categories
  • The role is also responsible for on field training deployment and effectiveness check on the changes in the CRM software thru continuous education of service franchisee staff so that the quality and service delivery standards are maintained across the board

Responsibilities will, amongst other things, include

  • Assist the Competence Manager for new product testing and feedback on historical failures data to improve the new launch categories reliability
  • Periodic visits to Service partners for Audit of Partner staff Technical knowledge, Education on engineering changes, new product information etc.
  • Scheduled publication of Technical newsletter for continuous service level enhancements.
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and Third parties.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
  • Bring in innovation to better the repair methods at the service centers by introducing new tools, new processes and execute them so that services rendered conform to company policy and standards.

Experience and Background

  • Graduate Engineer from a reputed Technical /Engineering institute specializing in Mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • At least 5 ~ 8 years experience, preferably in product support, New product Introduction product testing, Repair analytics and Technical Training with hands-on repair experience

Other Competencies:

  • Ability to present and teach technical & Soft skills information to repair technicians & ASC staff.
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Should be able to communicate in a clear, constructive and professional manner
  • Be pro-active in developing trust and professional rapport with technicians and work as a good team-player.
  • Should have good knowledge on Microsoft office products (MS excel and Power point etc.)
