Greetings of the day!
We are Hiring for Junior Backend Developer(WFH)
Primary Skills: Java, REST services, SQL, Linux shell scripting, git,
maven
Role Description: The Backend Developer would need to have at least
2 years of relevant experience in building software products
Skills & Responsibilities:
- 2+ years of demonstrated experience developing modern web
application backends using Java, Spring Boot and SQL Databases
- Product development experience is expected i.e. developing features
over multiple release cycles as opposed to ad-hoc projects
- Expertise developing enterprise-level web applications and RESTful
APIs with demonstrable production-scale experience
- Demonstrate strong design and programming skills using JSON, Web
Services, SQL in Linux environments using open source frameworks
and libraries
- Experience working with tools like Git, Maven, Gradle in environments
where releases and deployments have to be carried out at a fast pace
- Strong data modeling and data retrieval with relational databases like
MySQL, Postgres, Oracle
- Strong Shell scripting experience
- Working experience in API Security including OAuth
Required Traits:
- Passion to stay on top of the latest happenings in the tech world and
an attitude to bring those into play to solve business problems end-to-
end in a startup environment
- Strong agile/scrum development experience in startup environments
- Strong collaboration and communication skills within distributed project
teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Desire to work in Big Data engineering using Spark etc.
Education/Experience
Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering,
Information Technology or related field or equivalent preferred
Experience: Minimum 2 years
