Job Description

Description Node.js Developer responsible for managing and developing features for our Node.js-based communication platform. Primary objectives are development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the database, ensuring high performance and responsiveness of APIs, building ReST and WebSocket-based APIs, helping the team to integrate them with the iOS, Android, and Web applications. Other expectations are a good understanding of front-end technologies and experience in designing and creating APIs.

Skills required

In-depth knowledge of Node.js and Node.js frameworks
Strong proficiency in JavaScript
Knowledge of accessibility and security compliance
Proficient in JSON and XML based services
Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3
Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests for Node.js based applications
Experience in working with WebSockets and Socket-io is a plus
Experience of working with Elasticsearch is a plus
Strong proficiency in creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
Proficient with MongoDB and NoSQL based database design and development

Qualifications Graduate/ Post Graduate in Computer Science with atleast 60% throughout academics
2 - 5yrs IT experience
Previous working experience as a Node.js based application Developer for 3 years
