The Role
Digital Video Audio (DVA) group's portfolio consists of world-class products across desktop, mobile, web and cloud catering to professional customers. Some of the products and services that the team develops includes Creative Cloud Express, Adobe Premiere Rush, Adobe Premiere Pro, Creative Cloud Video (CCV), etc.
As part of the team this role will be responsible for one or more of the following:
- Developing Web Client features end to end for CC Web Video.
- Interfacing with back end infrastructure and cloud services for CC Web Video.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new framework/features, maintain product features in full product development cycle from early specs, prototypes to implementation to release and maintenance.
- Participate in product design, estimation, risk analysis, development and debugging.
- Writing clean, functional code on the front and back-end
- Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues
- Develop Automation for continuous verification of features
- Performance optimization, usability and stability improvements.
- Monitor/debug highly available and high traffic systems that run 24x7 with minimal downtime, load balancing, failure detection and fail over options.
- Work collaboratively with a global team of engineers to build shared software components
Requirements:
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in the industry
- Proficient in HTML/CSS/JavaScript/Typescript, data structures and algorithms.
- Proven knowledge of Client and server-side technologies
- Familiarity with JavaScript and Backend frameworks (React, Redux/MobX, Spring, Hibernate, AWS, Docker, REST, etc.)
- Experience in Object Oriented language like Java/C++
- Ability to work proactively and independently with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with unit testing and automation frameworks (e.g. JUnit, Selenium, WebdriverIO, Playwright) will be a big plus
- Knowledge on topics related to WebGL, GPU would be beneficial
- Experience working in an agile environment
- Able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
