Job Description
Responsibilities:- Ensures the compliance of project managers and engineers to the procedures related to their jobs.
- Assigns jobs to Project & Site Managers and Engineers and directing, coaching, supervising, and leading them to accomplish the high-quality project output and achieve targets & milestones.
- Reports to management on major issues and commercial matters related to contracts and projects.
- Assists the Sales and Marketing department in under-bidding jobs in terms of technical point of view.
- Facilitates the definition of projects scope, defines projects task and resources requirement, develops full scale of project plans, schedules projects timelines, and leads in the implementation of projects at all stages up to construction and handing over to the client in order to achieve the required goals and deliverables.
- Manages project budgets, and project site resources allocation in order to run within fixed budgets and schedules.
- Constantly monitors project progress and provides progress reports for all stakeholders as a basis towards planning results.
- Evaluates projects progress towards defining interventions and solutions to problems encountered in the execution of the projects in order to achieve projects desired outputs.
- Interfaces with Construction Managers, Site Engineers, Projects Managers, all stakeholders, clients and projects owners on the execution of project activities towards planned results.
- Attends client meetings, queries, requests, and furnish updated project reports.
- Follows up issuance of invoices on time as per contract unit prices and method of measurement, and coordinate with Finance and client for payment.
Work Requirement: 50% work in the main office, and 50% visiting projects sites
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil / Mechanical engineering
- Should have five (5) years experience as Project Engineer, and five (5) years as Project Manager.
- Relevant Work Experience in Steel Storage Tanks.
- Site Construction Experience.
