Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Software Engineer that follows up-to-date best practices to provide scalable solutions for a multi-tenant SaaS application. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated team player with a full understanding of software development lifecycle concepts who can work in accordance with defined workflows. The candidate must be an experienced web developer with an Agile development background and the ability to complete tasks on schedule.
This role requires professional communication and collaboration with a cross-functional team, stake holders and clients
In this role youll:
Develop well commented, scalable, defect free Coldfusion code
Develop optimized, scalable, defect free MS SQL code & stored procedures
Develop software using current web languages and frameworks
Attend and contribute in daily/weekly development team meetings
Work with support team to quickly resolve trouble tickets/software defects
Perform peer code reviews and identify improvement opportunities
Provide feedback and recommendations for technical feasibility, approach & architecture
Communicate on project and ticket statuses to drive completion
Participate in continuous learning programs and assigned training courses
Investigate, research, and document area of the applications
Attend and support scheduled deployments
Code Review with teammates, identify areas for improvement and mentor junior developers.
Education/Experience

3+ Years of experience building Coldfusion applications and a knowledge of CF11+
3+Years of experience with web-based languages, framework & libraries (HTML, CSS, JS, AJAX)
3+Years of experience writing and optimizing MS SQL with knowledge of stored procedures
Experience working with GIT version control repositories
Experience working with and configuring Windows Servers OS (IIS)
Complete understanding of OOP, SOA and familiarity with SOLID and encapsulation
Instrumental involvement in the development of large public facing web applications
Experience working in a development team environment utilizing Agile methodologies
Professional communication and documentation skills
Ability to use advanced troubleshooting techniques to quickly address identified defects
Ability to deliver output provided by the design team according to specification
Strong skills with Microsoft Office software
The desire for continuous learning and the ability to learn new technologies quickly
Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, programming languages, distributed systems, and information retrieval
Relevant Engineering Degree or MCA or MCM Graduate with good academic grades.
