As a Technical Communication Engineer-II for the Tensilica IP group, you will be responsible for developing documentation for Tensilica products. The documentation deliverables include user guides, reference manuals, application notes, online training, tutorial videos, and online help for our broad line of customizable SoC products.
You will:
Work closely with engineers and subject matter experts to author, review, and edit the product documentation.
Ensure quality and technical accuracy of content by scheduling technical reviews and incorporating feedback.
Edit draft content received from other engineers for grammar, clarity, and writing standards.
Manage documentation for multiple products, including working on documentation defects, using content management system, and publishing content.
Graduate or post-graduate in Technical Communications, Engineering, or Computer Science.
Minimum 3-4 years of experience as a technical writer.
Hands-on with XML and DITA standards.
Proficient with documentation and related tools, such as Oxygen XML Author (required), MS Word (required), MS Visio (required), and Adobe Acrobat (required), JIRA (desired), and Atlassian Confluence (desired).
Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently with good decision-making skills.
Knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and best practices in technical writing.
