Roles and Responsibilities
The charter includes building the overall marketing strategy in order to achieve the business goals of customer & traffic growth, brand salience, and imagery, and marketing efficiencies. Responsibilities include identifying new customer growth opportunities, planning for traffic and user growth, running growth hacking experiments in partnership with other marketing, product and tech stakeholders, building a robust marketing strategy across the pillars of brand marketing, performance marketing and loyalty marketing.
Expectations
Key metrics responsible for: Traffic growth, User growth, Acquisitions, Customers, Marketing RoAS and efficiencies, Team building and leadership
Lead marketing strategy development and new bets to fuel the customer flywheel.
Lead the annual and monthly operating planning process for the marketing function.
Drive marketing and customer growth hacking initiatives.
Build, motivate and develop a team of high-performing growth & planning professionals.
Lead marketing analytics initiatives such as marketing mix modeling.
Work with brand, performance marketing, and loyalty program teams for planning, analyzing & optimizing budgets to deliver the best ROIs of marketing investments.
Drive governance and reporting on marketing priorities and program manage the strategic bets.
Key Requirements
6-7 years experience in leading strategy and growth initiatives in e-commerce or consumer tech platforms.
Strong knowledge of the digital ecosystem and experience with running user customer growth initiatives.
Strong understanding of marketing technology is desirable.
Media and marketing planning experience is desirable but not necessary.
Problem solving leadership with excellent communication and analytical skills.
High action biased individual who inspires audacity in his/her people
