DBA - Product Development - Hyderabad @ ADP

Profile Description:

• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts, Technical Consultants, Development Managers and Developers to perform technical troubleshooting to diagnose, isolate, and correct data and database issues.
• Support designing and implementing data solutions including data partitioning, data normalizing, de-normalizing, data aggregations, and Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) to support the data warehouse environment.
• Conduct stakeholder reviews on all data object deliverables
• Create, review, analyze and modify SQL scripts, procedures and support programs to ensure proper execution, efficient operation, and meets the product coding standards/practices.
• Conduct data analysis to identify data integrity issues within databases, interfaces, or other data related repositories, as well as make design recommendations for database functions that meet business operating standards while improving the efficiency of business processes.
• Well-versed with security threats and able to apply security controls within the SQL and database environments to minimize security risks.
• Write technical support documentation for software applications including operational usage or procedures, and user guides.

Qualification Requirements:

• B.E. or MCA with 9-12 years of Database development experience and at least 5 years of experience in data architecture
• Strong Data modeling experience from Conceptual, logical, and physical designs using UML.
• Strong SQL optimization experience at the review level and also at the trouble shooting level.
• Proficiency with SQL Server, database management tools
• Experience with No-SQL DBs or Cloud based DB solutions is an added plus
• Experience in writing complex SQL queries, PL/SQL programs, procedures, functions and packages in an optimized way
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with agile development methodologies is desirable.
• Ability to listen, to communicate, to influence a desire to work with other smart innovators.
• Ability to work on multiple scrum teams managing own deliverables.
