Key Result Areas
Supporting Actions
Operation of Recovery, Chiller and Cooling Tower
Maintain the operating parameters of Ion exchange, Multiple Effective Evaporator (MEE), Chiller, Cooling Tower and leaching section
Maintain performance of Ion exchange plant to ensure optimum bed volume and minimum NMMO losses through regeneration cycles. Take corrective actions in case of deviations
Maintain the NMMO flow rates for Ion Exchanger and MEE section based on fibre production
Estimate NMMO recovery at start of every week and month
Maintain and monitor steam economy for MEE and take corrective action if steam economy value decreases
Inform concerned sections in case of NMMO leakages and ensure actions are taken to arrest it
Prepare daily report for Recovery, Chiller and Cooling Tower parameters and communicate it to management
Ensure that housekeeping is maintained in the area
Estimate & book raw material consumption for the section in SAP
Safety
Carry out regular HIRA/JSA
Conduct regular Tool Box Talks with technicians
Monitor usage of PPEs in the area
Inventory Management
Manage material inventory for the area
Prepare Purchase Requisitions, provide technical recommendations to the Purchase Department and follow up for Purchase Order
Manpower Management and Skill Development
Proper manpower planning of technicians for critical jobs, including preparation of monthly shift calendar
Provide training to operators & shift engineers for any new changes in the plant
Qualifications:
Bachelor Of Engineering
Minimum Experience Level:
5-8 Years
