Job Description

1. 4+ years of experience in the IT industry, experience in Data space is preferred
2. Good experience in the following tech stack: Apache Hadoop & Apach Spark Streaming and Batch Jobs , HBase , HDFS , UC4 , Hive , Kafka , Experience with GCP, Big Query would be a plus
3. Strong object-oriented programming skills in Java or Scala
4. Should have worked on high availability, low latency platforms
5. Ability to question status quo and identify bad design/code patterns which can impact performance and maintainability of the code
6. Scripting Languages (Shell, Python, Perl) would be a plus
7. Experience with data warehousing architecture and data modeling best practices would be a plus
8. Experience in the Spring framework, developing robust RESTful services would be a plus
9. Database design and optimization. (Oracle/MySQL) would be a plus
10. Excellent understanding of system design and design patterns
11. Experience with using git
12. Previous experience with the Agile methodology
13. Have very good communication skills
