We are hiring for DBA Mainframe
Experience : 5+ year
Annual CTC : UPTO 5 LPA
Location : BANGALORE
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Application DBA with good experience in handling all Database changes. System and Application related monitoring using monitoring tools like Omegamon and Query Monitor. Good understanding of IBM utilities, DB2 connect, DB2 Analytics Accelerator. Hands on Automation , know REXX or Powershell. Knowledge on System DBA task, SMP/E, Installation and upgrade will be good. Knowledge on DB2 version upgrade related task. Knowledge on GitHub, Jenkins or Ansible is added advantage. Design and Creation of DB2 objects Provide support for DB2 Z/OS database and any issues/problems related to that Development and test support during DB2 software version Upgrade Monitoring DB2 program performance and providing Performance improvement Tuning Suggestions Maintenance of Database objects by running DB2 Utilities Disaster Recovery and Backup for DB2 objects. Support Mainframe Online/OLTP environment CICS, MQ, Web Services
Support Mainframe Application Services WAS Support Mainframe Message Transfer & Connectivity environments z/OS CONNECT Good understanding of Messaging Interfaces and Connections to DB2, IDMS, IMS Monitoring, Incident and Problem Management of Mainframe Middleware environment IBM and ISV Vendor Coordination for Ticketing Incidents/Problems, SW downloads, Escalations Work on Mainframe Middleware administration Tools and Products. Strong knowledge of CICS, CICSPlex and MQ Experience working with: CICS Performance Analyzer, SAS, IBM Utilities and diagnostic tools such as Omegamon and Mainview for CICS Proficiency in the maintenance of IBM CICS & MQ software Skilled at troubleshooting problems in CICS & MQ environment. Strong dump analysis skills using IPCS CICS & MQ Version Upgrades Knowledgeable in z/OS CONNECT and WAS. Knowledgeable in ZOSMF and ZOWE Experience in using Xpeditor, Strobe, CICS Explorer, SysView, Abend-Aid, File-Aid, CICS-CTG Experience in customizing ISPF Panels, RSU Maintenance, Analyzing and Fixing CICS Abends Fix the production DB2 utilities failure. Fix the DB2 failure on Db2 Production. Help Application team is solving DB2 Related failures SQL tuning. Good at SQL tunning Good hands on at REXX
