Job Description
- 4+ years of experience in the IT industry, experience in Data space is preferred
- Good experience in the following tech stack: Apache Hadoop & Apach Spark Streaming and Batch Jobs , HBase , HDFS , UC4 , Hive , Kafka , Experience with GCP, Big Query would be a plus
- Strong object-oriented programming skills in Java or Scala
- Should have worked on high availability, low latency platforms
- Ability to question status quo and identify bad design/code patterns which can impact performance and maintainability of the code
- Scripting Languages (Shell, Python, Perl) would be a plus
- Experience with data warehousing architecture and data modeling best practices would be a plus
- Experience in the Spring framework, developing robust RESTful services would be a plus
- Database design and optimization. (Oracle/MySQL) would be a plus
- Excellent understanding of system design and design patterns
- Experience with using git
- Previous experience with the Agile methodology
- Have very good communication skills
