Implementing appropriate procedure, tools, and techniques to make the selection process objective and accurate.
Effectively coordinating the interview process to ensure that candidates get professional and welcoming experience.
Negotiating salaries and making offers as per the HR policies of VSI.
Conducting onboarding/ induction programs for the new employees while seeking wholehearted involvement from other colleagues.
Ensuring the administrative aspects for new employees are completed in time (issue of I-card, up dation of payroll, employee master etc)
Training
Identifying the training needs of work force and bridging the skill gaps through in-house or external training programs
Ensuring that training evaluation is completed for each of the training programs, the feedback is considered for corrective actions and a comprehensive training record is maintained.
Performance Management
Ensuring that employee job descriptions are kept up-to-date and reviewed once a year.
Ensuring that each employee, including new joinee, is provided job description and their goals/KRAs/KPIs.
Planning and executing a schedule for yearly PMS in coordination with Top Management, to ensure that appraisals are completed in time.
Employee Relations Management
Counselling and guiding employees as and when required on grievances.
Initiating periodic activities for employee engagement like celebrating birthdays or festivals, conducting various team-building activities, etc.
Analyzing the causes of employee attrition or dissatisfaction and suggesting corrective actions to top management.
Reporting/ MIS and Employment Documentation
Developing, maintaining up-to-date all the HR MIS Reports required by the top management.
Coordinating with the Plant HR for information or reports required by the top management.
Maintaining up-to-date employee files with complete employment documentation.
Generating required documentation, reports, etc for the implementation of necessary statutory requirements under guidance from Top Management and external experts.
Payroll and administration
Ensuring timely completion of all the payroll activities.
Ensuring timely completion of all joining and separation activities.
Ensuring that the HR administration costs are optimised through outsourcing of non-core functions, effective processes and cost cutting initiatives.
