WHAT YOULL DO

Heres what you can expect on a typical day in the life of a Senior Data Architect at ADP

• Youll start each day with a scrum, working in a team to understand responsibilities, identify any issues, and communicate coding priorities. Our Data Architects do more than code - they communicate the intricacies and problems at hand.
• Working in two-week sprints, you must keep up with timelines and coding standards.
• Variety of work. There is no typical day. You could be working on anything from migrations or cloud connectivity data sourcing to delivering new features, product enhancements, or creating new services.
• Youre always learning new codes and operating with a "figure it out" mentality.
• Challenges . Youre comfortable working on products with tech that has never been used before. Inevitable challenges will arise, and well rely on you to look for a solution.
• Architecture : Architecture and detailed technical design of key/complex functional requirements, Prototyping and initial implementation of particularly complex items
• Management of own tasks and progress. Ensure all work conforms to our software development process, procedures and best practices, Contribute to the evolution of our software development process, procedures and best practices
• A college degree is great but not required. Whats more important is having the skills and experience to do the job.
