CommScope is currently recruiting for an Engineering Process Analyst. This individual will have global responsibilities in support of engineering processes such as Product Development Process, Engineering Change Management and Master Data Governance. As part of the team, this position will collaborate with business users and IT to develop and deliver world class solutions. This team is part of CommScope's initiative to drive increased growth and profitability through implementation of systems that reduce complexity and increase efficiency.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Participate in projects to develop, standardize, and improve internal product lifecycle management and engineering software applications such as SAP and related systems, engineering change management applications, project and portfolio management software, and others as assigned.
Collaborate with multiple cross-functional groups (i.e., Engineering, Operations, Product Line Management, Finance, Purchasing, Customer Service, etc.).
Gather data and requirements/goals identified the organization to help define data management tools and processes used by the global organization.
Directly maintain or support process documentation to be current with system capabilities and actual business practices.
Directly maintain SAP ERP material master data on behalf of requesting businesses, and in alignment with global master data governance standards.
Develop and maintain user training documentation Coordinate and deliver user training to various multi-functional audiences. Business process narratives and process flow maps.
Run reports and analyze data related to various SAP material master and related product lifecycle and project management elements
Develop peer, cross-functional and cross-business line relationships to facilitate best practice sharing.
Skills and qualifications required
Experience coordinating material change management, i.e., product change requests and engineering change orders.
Working knowledge of SAP ERP system material master data maintenance using relevant transaction codes.
Experience maintaining product lifecycle data including material numbers, material status, bills of material, revision levels, controlled documents/drawings, and related effective dates. Working understanding of how changes to these material data elements may impact other, related materials.
Solid computer skills with ability to navigate database systems and use standard MS Office programs effectively.
Excellent communication skills with ability to provide user direction and training.
Ability to hold individuals accountable for following standard practices.
Demonstrated experience with organizing and maintaining work, managing multiple activities, and effectively multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
Occasionally support other global regions during off-hours times.
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated experience developing or directly supporting improvements to product lifecycle processes.
Working knowledge in global Master Data Governance processes, with direct experience stewarding Material Master data using SAP MDG.
Excellent computer skills with knowledge and capability to use business analytics and reporting tools such as SAP ERP queries, Business Objects, PowerBI, and MS Excel Power Pivot/Pivot Tables/Pivot Charts. Writing new queries a plus.
Proven ability or skill in developing requirements for, and generation of, business metrics and reporting. Additional experience creating or maintaining dashboard report views a plus.
Working knowledge of business process mapping and continuous improvement tools.
Experience developing business process requirements and performing SIT or UAT testing for new or updated software applications to support business processes. Additional experience writing relevant test scripts a plus.
Experience defining and delivering end-user training in-person, virtually, and in recorded sessions using MS Teams MS Stream or similar.
