Job Description

Build, Installation
Definition/Installation/Creation of SQL Server Database/SQL Server 2016/19
procedures as per bank's policy
Database Performance
Management
Fine tune and resolve performance issues through performance tuning and optimizations.
Database Capacity Management
Estimate && recommend database requirements based on performance and Business projections
Monitoring and Administration
Provides the required operational support to monitor Bank database Environments.

Backup and restore
Refers to the successful backup and restoration of the database
instances as defined by Bank policy

Access management
Management of the granting, removal, monitoring and editing of access.rights allocated to the
database environments. Administration of SQL Logins, roles and authentication modes.

Database ad hoc support
Processes to perform database upgrades, performance tuning and repairing a database
DC and DR testing
Create, Implement and validate database recovery solutions. Support
during DR testing and during actual DR situations. Configure and monitor Log shipping, Mirroring,
Clustering and Always On.
