Job Description

Job Responsibilities

• Participate in Scrum, Daily Stand-up, Sprint, and iterative development activities
• Participate in Sprint planning and release planning
• Participate in backlog refinement Decompose business requirements to be able to write effective acceptance criteria and automated test scripts for medium complexity projects
• Execute test cases within the Functional, Performance, or Web Services Automation framework
• Create test data and identify environment needs for medium complexity projects
• Monitor software quality via continuous and iterative testing approach
• Create automated scripts that support the Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipeline
• Apply Testing Lifecycle Management principles in the context of a product With oversight, manage testing-related Defects/Issues/Risks
• Possess technical competency to interact with application developers to ensure software quality
• Confirm change estimates
• Create enhanced technical documentation and implement changes.
• Conduct timely test reviews to ensure standards and systems interoperability.
• Create accurate test plans, conditions, and data. Participate in testing reviews.
• Conduct integration testing according to process standards. Post and track the bugs/defects to closure.
• Assists product team personnel with functional tests.
• Identify support issues and initiate action to resolve the problem.
• Provide technical assistance.

Primary Skills

• Test Automation using Selenium Web Driver and SOAP UI
• Continuous Integration tools (e.g. Jenkins, Hudson)
• Source Code Management Tools (e.g. Git)
• Programming skills (Java)
• Relational Database Management (e.g. Oracle, SQL)
• Practical experience with Agile Scrum methodology
• Experience in VersionOne tool
• Good knowledge of Performance Testing and Security Testing
