Manage a region for credit underwriting with the help of Credit ManagersMaintain a department organizational structure sufficient to meet all goals and objectivesProperly motivate the credit and collections staffTo train the Credit Managers adequately to perform their tasksShould possess a good understanding of SME space and business cycles. Should have good analytical skillsRecommend changes in the credit policy to senior management, if requiredCreate a credit scoring model after analyzing the segmentManage customer credit files Should travel extensively to various locations being managed by him/her. Should travel for a minimum of 10 working days in a month. Should ensure all important clients across his regions is met up personally. Monitor the credit granting and updating process Personally investigate the largest customer credit applications Monitor periodic credit reviews To pass on good practices and learnings of various locations managed, across the region Recommend changed to the Product team on the basis of on ground credit underwriting experience Measure department performance with appropriate metrics To ensure delinquency levels are totally in control and in line with the budget Manage relations with collection agencies. To personally get involved in collections, if required.
