Requirements Details:
Designation: Technical Architect (Backend)
Department: Software Engineering
Location: Bangalore
Qualification: B.Tech (Computers) Graduate
Experience: 8+ years of relevant experience in developing software as an engineer with 2+ years of relevant experience as technical architect.
Responsibilities:
1. Design /Architect systems/applications.
2. Participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle, designing architectures and developing POCs
3. Work with a wide range of systems and technologies and solve problems from end-to-end
4. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and software engineers to deliver high-quality user-facing products
5. Mentor junior team members, communicate efficiently with the team members and take ownership of your tasks
6. Help system design and implement functional requirements
7. Implement software enhancements and suggest improvements
Skills:
1. Knowledge and experience of architecting systems taking into account - Performance and Scalability
2. Knowledge and experience in profiling/monitoring/code review/Troubleshooting in production environments
3. Has worked with Distributed systems in past
4. High proficiency & hands on experience in some of the following technologies:
a) Enterprise Applications Microservices, containers, service orchestration
b) Backend Technologies Node.js, Python / Django / Flask
c) Databases MySQL, PostgreSQL, Non-Relational Databases (Elasticsearch, MongoDB)
5. Knowledge and experience working with code review tools/linting etc
6. Thorough in Object Oriented Design
7. Experience in cloud based technologies such as Amazon S3, AWS and Microsoft Azure
8. Knowledge and experience in Architectural and Design Patterns
9. Experience in working with, Elasticsearch, Solr,Message Queues is a plus
10. Excellent understanding of REST API Development, HTTP Methods and Web sockets
11. Excellent oral and written communication skills
12. Ability to understand, adapt, initiate, implement process, and operate in a changing and sometimes undefined environment
13. Analytical thinking and planning, communication, problem-solving, good judgment, and the ability to influence others positively is required
14. Ability to effectively communicate even when the information is sensitive/difficult
15. Demonstrate the ability to multitask, manage multiple projects, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
16. Ethical, Courageous, Transparent, Imaginative, Candid, and Responsible
Salary: Upto 36LPA (Negotiable)
