KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

1. Support the team in preparing the yearly plans and budget.
2. Understand the departmental objectives and plan the activities accordingly.
3. Follow the deadlines of development.
4. Explain and train the production team and the engineers about the new products.
5. Taking inputs on electronic parts related to our products from all available sources (Internet, Marketing, Customers, Service Engineers) and do analysis of inputs.
6. Prepare feasibility and comparison report to take the right decision.
7. Collect and correlate all technical specification and information.
8. Assist to identify and select electronics and software developer.
9. Conduct verification of Code / Designs.
10. Follow-up regarding Project Progress.
11. Guide production department in critical problem solving & in producing of Pilot batch assembly & testing.
12. Give inputs to & follow-up for manufacturing of mechanical parts.
13. Producing Proto type and testing related to mechanical section.
14. Process & Material quality inspection during mass production for first 10 pieces.
15. Provide support to ISO related documentation.
16. Prepare field testing reports for first 5 new products.
17. Once the trails are ok hand over the product to production department with proper procedure.
18. Identification & selection of new vendors and prepare procurement note for materials.
19. Co-ordinate in training of sales & service engineers on all new developments.
20. Provide customer service support whenever & wherever required.
21. Support to D&D in-charge in various Engineering & Development initiatives.
22. Provide support to production team for troubleshooting.
23. 100% implementation and achievement of 5S and Kaizen targets.
24. Develop weekly tutorials.
25. Discuss with the team about the possibilities of reducing cost while developing any product.
26. Get the customer requirement understood and give your suggestions wherever required.
27. Support the team in developing the manual and noting down the advantages of the product.
28. Be updated through Organizational trainings, attending seminars, Information updates from Public Domains (internet).
29. Ensure use of safety gadgets during field visits.
