Software Manual Test Engineer @ ABP Empower

Job Description:

-Manual testing of web and windows based applications, web services testing and

integration testing of a complex system.

-Strong knowledge of software development process, along with software testing

concepts and methodologies

-Developing and implementing test plans, test strategy, test cases, test reports

and ensuring defect free releases

-Responsible for testing of software web applications - products / projects

-Build detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases

-Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities

-Identify, record, document thoroughly and supervise bugs

-Collaborate closely with internal teams to identify system requirements

-Supervise debugging process results

-Provide customer training and develop user help manuals

-Should be an expert in Defect Tracking tools such as Mantis etc.

-Ability to track and correct key test metrics such as defect density, reopen rate,

test coverage etc.

-Expertise in testing of the mobile app across various platforms

-Strong STLC and SDLC fundamentals

-Knowledge of various QA methodologies and techniques

-Scheduling testing activities and preparing the test effort estimations.

-Manual testing along with involvement in test planning and test case designing

-Managing corrective and preventive actions to meet quality standards

-Knowledge of API testing and DB testing is plus point.
