Mechanical Engineer ( Shipyard repair / Steel Fabrication ) for Bahrain @ Al Badi Enterprises

JOB TITLE : Mechanical Engineer
QUALIFICATION
EDUCATION : Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 to 7 years in Shipyard repair/building industry field specifically in steel fabrication.
ORGANISATION STRUCTURE

REPORTS TO: DIVISION MANAGER

SCOPE OF WORK:
Obtain the position of engineering with excellent leadership qualities, which includes organizing, problem solving, managing budgets, planning skills, quality assurance, and safety in working space with safe environment.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Generation of all engineering inputs for estimation of projects at pre-bid stage
2.Estimation & preparing material list as per the approved drawings
3.Planning and scheduling the work as per the priority
4.Co-ordination with design consultant to expedite drawing & also with team for efficient progress of job
5.Resolving the site quires and related issue by considering the design changes
6.Monitor timely execution of project delivery schedule and take necessary remedial action
7. Estimation of quotations and preparation of bills.
8. Daily site inspection as per requirements.
9. Ensure quality of work as per specification & standards
10.Preparation of block assembly, block erection sequence and welding detail for critical area
11. Preparation of unit fabrications, equipment seats, electrical cable route & material management as per the approved drawings.
12.Preparation of fortnightly schedule for reviewing the progress of work & revising the schedule
13.Coordinate progress review meeting and ensure implementation of all action points
14.Arranging and conducting survey with Quality control department, Owner & class representatives
15. Ensure clean environment and safe working conditions.

Benefits
1. Package salary: Bahraini Dinars Basic 400/- + Social Allowance 40/- + Call Allowance 10/-per month tax free.
2. Leaving Indemnity: 50% of the basic first three years, 100% three years and above.
3. Contract: 2 years.
4. Probation Period: Three Months.
5. Annual Leave: 30 days per annum and after completing 1st contract.
6. Air Ticket: Provided by company in economy class to Mumbai at end of contract.
7. Work Visa: Provided by the company.
8. Accommodation: Bachelor Sharing Accommodation.
9. Transportation: Company will provide.
10. Working days: Saturday to Thursday 8 working hours daily. Friday day off.
