Engineering Manager

Opportunity
Engineering Manager will lead Platform and Growth teams responsible for building solutions for end to end User Engagement. He/she will manage a team of engineers, while partnering across organisations in engineering and in business teams.
Growth Team :
Growth team enables and manages customer experiences across Web, email and mobile applications. Growth team is responsible for implementing multiple new features, new workflows, enhancements, and bug fixes within and multiple iOS and Android CC Express applications.
Engagement Platform Team :
Engagement Platform Team is building a platform to facilitate real-time experiences for millions of active users at scale. Team is also building solutions to help evaluate experiments related to promotions to design choices, to determine which variation is the best suited.Team isbuilding an engagements solution to target users with dynamic content and messaging and tracing thereafter. The platform built will enable hundreds ofexperimentations at scale with ability to Measure and monitor the quality via deep observability across the stack to ensure efficient engagements.This new platform will allow developers and product teams to automatically collect high definition analytics byefficiently routing and leveraging data between multiple internal adobe solutions withvery low performance overhead, all while keeping security and privacy paramount.
Requirements :

• B.Tech. / B.E. / M.Tech. / M.S. in Computer Science
• 12+ years of experience in design and development of highly scalable applications or large scale web applications orplatform development in product based companies or R&D divisions
• Extensive hands on experience in technologies similar to Javascript, Advanced Javascript, Microservices, React/Angular/Vue
• Experience with AWS with knowledge of AWS Services like Autoscaling, ELB, ElastiCache, SQS, SNS, RDS, S3, Serverless Architecture,Lambda, Gateway, and Amazon DynamoDB,etc... or similar technology stack
• Experience with Operations (AWS, Terraform, scalability, high availability & security) is a big plus
• Ability to balance the long term 'big picture' and short term implications of designdecisions
• Strong computer science fundamentals like, data structures, algorithms, design patterns
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills including facilitation and consensus building.
• Ability to influence and persuade, without direct control.
• Able toPartner closely with product leadership and peers to influence team priorities and roadmap
• Practitioner of Agile (Scrum) methodology
• Experienced in mentoring and coaching team members and building higher performanceengineers teams

Responsibilities :

• Manage teams to scale distributed applications, make architectural trade-offs applying synchronous and asynchronous design patterns, review code, and deliver with speediness and quality
• Be responsible for the overall planning, execution, and success of complex technical projects
• Drive large-scale and highly complex technical projects and provide leadership in an innovative and fast paced environment
• Provide technical expertise throughout the product lifecycle including design, implementation, and delivery of scalable services and infrastructure
• Produce high-quality software that is unit tested, code reviewed, and checked in regularly for continuous integration
• Develop and iterate on processes and practices that keep your team executing efficiently
• Coach, mentor and manage an engineering team by holding regular coaching and career pathing conversations
• Work closely with the Product Management team to ensure we're building the best products
