Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

  1. Engage with key Telecom divisions of Govt (Railways, PSU, Defense Field Operations, Labs), broadband service providers, datacenters, and enterprise customers to project our Telecom Testing Instruments for their Fiber/Transmission/RF networks.
  2. Present company's entire product range and arrange effective demos as well as get technical approvals in above mentioned customers segments.
  3. Develop new clients by mapping applications of Test and Measurement Solutions to user needs.
  4. Manage/handle entire Sales Cycles (lead creation to payment recovery) for the assigned customer accounts.
  5. Discuss technical specifications with customers to position our products in tenders with guidance and support from the pre-sales team
  6. Build conservative Sales Funnels, Meeting Sales Goals, handling Negotiation, Building Relationships with Customers etc.
  7. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing sales results as needed.

Desired Candidate Profile:

The person should have the following attributes and requirements to full-fill the job requirements:

  1. Qualification: Electronics/Telecommunication Engineer (BE/B-Tech) with a pleasant personality and an aptitude for sales
  2. Experience: 3-4 years of selling technical solutions in a B2B environment, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
  3. Candidate should be Extremely Self Motivated and very good in planning, Disciplined and Organized with proven track record.
  4. Should have excellent oral and written communication skills in English to engage with clients, and other stakeholders.
  5. Should be ready to visit clients in Mumbai and other cities in Western India on a regular basis to generate Sales leads, Opportunities, Account mapping etc. and to close sales of our instruments.
  6. Proven experience in sales to government bodies will be preferable.
  7. Proven experience with selling through Government E-Marketplace(GeM) platform and its procedures for positioning solutions for sales to Central & State Government, PSUs etc. will be preferable
  8. Experience in tender preparation, online bidding, online tendering, documentation, attending pre-bid meetings, follow up with clients etc. will be required.
  9. Good grasp of RF, Fiber, Mobile Core and Backhaul, Carrier Ethernet, IP/MPLS, DWDM and Transport technologies will be preferred.
