Job Description

:
- Design of equipment for Steel Rolling Mills using 3D/ 2D software.
- Preparation of assembly and part drawings along with associated BOM.
- Carry out power/ torque calculations using software/ analytic methods
- Reverse Engineering and Development of new equipment.
- Design validation and drawings checking.
- Selection of various electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic bought outs.
- Manage and assign work for 4-5 Junior Engineers/SE
- Coordinating with various internal departments, customers, vendors and suppliers.
Job Requirements: - Senior Design Engineer with minimum 8-10 Years experience handling design team.
- Experience in equipment design for Heavy Engineering industries. - Knowledge of 3D/ 2D softwares (Autodesk Inventor/ Autocad preferred)
- Should be able to design and prepare drawings for various fabricated, cast and sheet metal components and assemblies. - Should be able to select various bought outs such as motors, gearboxes, couplings & cardan shafts, hydraulic & pneumatic cylinders, bearings, etc.
- Should be able to carry out calculations for motor power, shafts, structural members and cylinders.
- Drawings checking for dimensional accuracy, assembly of mating parts and geometrical and dimensional tolerances.
