Job Description

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the application systems in Monetisation, including tasks related to identifying and troubleshooting application issues and issue resolution or escalation if appropriate.
  • Responsibilities also include -
  • Root cause analysis, help building fixes and client relationship management in partnership with engineering and customer support team members.
  • Ensures all production changes are made in accordance with life-cycle methodology and risk guidelines.
  • Responsible for coaching and mentoring less experienced team members and or acting as a subject matter expert.
  • In depth Functional knowledge of the application(s) supported and inter dependencies.
  • Proactively monitors and also helps strengthen the monitoring of the engineering stacks.
  • Responsible for implementation of mission critical tools and scripts
  • Quickly responds to incident alerts and support calls.
  • Identifies issues, and coordinates with teams that are critical to the event s resolution across geographies - MENA, India and SEA countries and wherever Hotstar launches in the future
  • Will need to work with large B2B partners like Telco partners to integrate our REST API and troubleshoot integration issues in various Hotstar environments - QA, Pre-production and ProductionRespond to customers support team with queries and possible solutions
  • Strive to maintain established SLA s for efficient communication with the end usersDemonstrates ability to multi-task and re-prioritize responsibilities based on changing requirements
  • Agility in working operations( Incident management, Change management, Escalation handling, Problem management), development data analytics
What to Bring
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related discipline preferred.
  • 3+yrs of experience in operation and/or development of distributed cloud based applications and services while
  • Experience in SQL and scripting.
  • Experience in JAVA and REST API is a plus.
  • Experience in incident management, monitoring and troubleshooting applications and services in cloud infrastructures.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to capture and articulate technical and non-technical details.
