Our Client: Our client is a well-established, Mumbai-based medium d full-service law firm. The law firm handles varied assignments for its Indian and international clients across different practice areas such as corporate, M&A, data protection, information technology, litigation, arbitration, and real estate.

Job Description: The role is a senior one reporting to the Managing Partner and has the following responsibilities. Only those candidates who meet the criteria may apply.
Core Responsibilities
Independent execution of General corporate, cross-border M&A and regulatory matters for private companies.
Ability to lead and mentor a team.
Advising clients on all aspects of corporate work including Share/Asset purchase or sale deals, company formation and restructuring, due diligence, general corporate advisory and shareholder agreements.
Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a full range of commercial contracts, Service Level Agreements, Software Agreements, NDAs, etc.
Handle engagements with Clients Independently.
Other Responsibilities
Actively participate in the development and management of the practice areas.
Mentor the associates in the team.
Take on admin and business development responsibilities for the firm including publications, conferences, business development/networking meetings, etc.
Assist in the firm's compliance with privacy, POSH, etc. and developing policies for the firm from risk and quality perspective
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Essential Criteria
Partner or Senior Associate in a law firm with minimum PQE of 6 years
Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
Availability to travel both domestically and internationally
Possess excellent leadership skills including the ability to inspire and motivate others.
Ability to apply legal knowledge to practical situations, and a solution-oriented, pragmatic approach to balance risk and reward.
Strong analytical skills should be able to use judgment, analyse facts and draw logical conclusions.
Ability to quickly assess risk areas and recommend ways of mitigating or managing them.
