Job Description
- Google Cloud Engineer DevOps Security (Consultant / Sr. Consultant) Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in IT implementations, Solution deployments, and/or business development activities.
- Experience with detailed network security and system design of load balancers, firewalls, and VPN in the deployment of virtual machines and containerized applications.
- Familiarity with securing Kubernetes and containerization workloads.
- Familiarity with Google cloud native stack GCE, Confidential Computing, GCS, Big Table, Big Query, Pub-Sub, cloud logging, CI-CD Pipelines, Cloud Armor, VPC network, Security Command Center, Cloud DLP API, Anthos Mesh, Cloud IAM Identity, Cloud Load Balancer, Cloud KMS, Secrets Manager etc.
- Understanding of industry compliance and security standards (e.g., NIST, PCI DSS, ISO 27001).
- Familiarity with Prisma Cloud, SIEM, Terraform IaC and Client
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and influencing skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- The Cloud Security Engineer is expected to work with various multi-disciplinary teams, so it is vital that they are team-oriented individuals with priority on the successful completion of group goals

Minimum qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 - 9 years of experience in cloud technical engineering in corporate IT, professional IT services, or product development.
- Experience with infrastructure automation, security automation using terraform.
- Experience with deployments cloud architecture and microservices.
- Certified Cloud Associate Engineer Terraform
- Professional Cloud Security Engineer will be added advantage

Responsibilities: - Work with customers to identify opportunities to apply cloud security services in their business.
- Implement security solutions and architectures; manage the deployment of solutions according to complex customer requirements and implementation best practices.
- Work with customer technical team, project leads, architects to manage and deliver successful implementations of cloud solutions; become a trusted advisor to decision makers throughout the engagement.
- Employ cloud-based APIs when suitable to write network/system level tools for safeguarding cloud environments
- Stay abreast of emerging security threats, vulnerabilities and controls
