Cloud Engineering Architect @ Intel

Job Description

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Make high level design choices for the software structure frameworks protocols and algorithms.
• Determine coding practices development tools and validation requirements.
• Perform pathfinding and survey technologies.
• Interact with multiple technologists in the company and within the industry as well as between developers and project managers to evaluate feasibility of requirements and determine priorities for development.
• Hands on leadership within a team of cluster and validation engineers to develop, deploy and support at scale validation clusters using the latest technologies and platforms from Intel and customers.

• Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.
• Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 4 years of experience in the following areas: Developing or supporting Cluster Datacenter Cloud solutions.
• Datacenter Cloud Software Orchestration Services Network topology, design, security and requirements
• Technical specification generation and verbal presentations
• Technical leadership and influencing cross division and cross group3 years of experience in the following areas:
• Architecture role requirements gathering and writing architecture specifications Datacenter Cloud Hardware infrastructure knowledge

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience communicating and influencing at executive level to define product strategies and investment decisions
• Experience with server systems architecture and technologies
• Experience developing Orchestration Solutions or software Open Stack Kubernetes
• Experience developing Telemetry solutions such as Elastic(ELK),Prometheus, and Kafka
• Experience with site reliability engineering
• Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or school work/classes/research.
