A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DATA ENTRY OPERATOR
Schedule and coordinate inbound receiving activities while serving as a communication point between the company and our customers. You will be maintaining a strict adherence to order and receipt accuracy standards, department processes and company procedures as well as preparing, sorting, and scheduling customer products with respected paperwork.
Responsibilities
Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders or optical scanners
Type in data provided directly from customers
Create spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes
Verify data by comparing it to source documents
Update existing data
Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested
Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation
Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost
Skills
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to perform basic math, to include addition, subtraction, simple division and multiplication
Minimum of 1 year data entry experience
Minimum of 10,000 KSPH in an Alpha Numeric format
Prior warehouse or logistics operations experience preferred
The position requires the ability to lift and or move items up to 25 pounds
The position requires the ability to communicate effectively in both a verbal and written fashion
The position requires following instructions both verbal and written in English

ORDER ENTRY ASSOCIATE WORK SCHEDULE
Part-time opportunity only. Work Schedule Tuesday-Thursday. 7 AM - 5PM or until work is completed.
