Senior Software Engineer @ Kapil Consultancy

Job Description

1. Expertise in network security systems.
2. Understanding and mitigating cybersecurity risk.
3. Work on Linux operating system, particularly Red Hat variants.
4. Expertise in Nessus technology.
5. Work as a change agent in developing innovative ways to resolve client issues.
6. Partnering with the Product Manager to find ways to improve the product today and help lay the groundwork for tomorrow.
7. Work in security infrastructure for companies and government across the globe.
8. To be innovative in your forte
9. Work closely with Product Managers, other engineers, designers, QE and stakeholders to continuously iterate on our products and drive consensus.
10. Knowledge of Linux operating systems, particularly Red Hat variants

2. Job Specification

1. S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science or a related field
2. Experience with PHP.
3. Hands on experience with Node.js, Backbone, D3
4. Experience with a Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) like SQL or Oracle required.
5. Application development experience on Unix/Linux
6. Experience developing single-page applications in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
7. Experience with React and JavaScript visualization libraries
8. Experience designing, developing, and utilizing Restful APIs
9. Strong understanding of design patterns and data structures
10. Exposure to the full software development life cycle (SDLC): requirements analysis, design, estimation, development, QC and unit testing
11. Experience in CICD tools such as Jenkins
12. Proven ability to work independently and effectively in a distributed team
13. Experience in working in an Agile team, and an enthusiasm for working collaboratively within and across product teams
14. Excellent communications and inter-personal skills.
