Job Description
We have an urgent opening for the position of Packaging Development officer for a reputed Pharma Packaging Industry at the Mumbai(Vasai) Location.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for driving packaging Innovation across units.
- Conceptualization/Exploration of multiple workable packaging concept based on needs/wants for healthcare industry.
- Awareness of latest technologies and trends and responsible for driving innovation in medical device/pharma packaging products across units.
- Develop various concepts in coordination with finished products and materials used.
- Develop all components and packaging products and monitor all engineering activities.
- Design all releases of packaging components and assemblies andcoordinate with product designers and ensure compliance with all internal and external requirements.
- Provide technical support to all engineering and provide support to manufacturing and implementation processes of product packaging.
- Work closely with teams across the units to understand the pain areas and help improve packaging processes.
- Project tracking on ongoing basis to ensure compliance to defined project timelines such as stability, moudling, manufacturing and Commercialization.
- Leading the team of new product packaging development to ensure timely delivery of packaging documents ansd artworks.
- Ensure products are launched on time, and that operating efficiencies, quality and scrap rates are within pre-defined limits.
- Responsible to drive the right solutions, sharing knowledge && drive trials with operations.
- Awareness of the latest technologies and trends.
- Develop, modify and implement component classification based on product contact / criticality with Regulatory and QA's help and define validation activity needed for each category of components.
- Development and qualification of a wide range of primary and secondary packaging solutions are met for the needs for Healthcare.
- Good networking with Packaging material suppliers, IIP/SIES && other packaging testing laboratories && with Plastic waste management entities such as Producer Responsibility Organizations
