Job Description

• Ensures clerks exemplify superior guest service with a friendly, helpful, and courteous attitude, using product knowledge and information to answer all questions guests may have about products
• Plan daily operations, monitor and rotate stock, follow company procedure and profitability guidelines
• Supervising, developing, training, and managing Dairy Frozen Food Department Team Members
• Ensure that all merchandise is correctly priced and displayed
• Responsible for inventory control
• Responsible for loading, unloading, moving, and storing products
• Contributes to store sales and profitability by effectively managing labor expenses, accurate pricing, stock levels, inventory, merchandizing
• Order and maintain proper inventory levels and merchandise displays
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and regulations pertaining to safety, sanitation, merchandising, and product quality
• Supervise product integrity through proper storing, and handling of all dairy and frozen products
• Communicate and work cooperatively with Store Director, Department Managers, and dairy/frozen team members to maintain standards and exceed guest expectations
• Ensure productivity standards are met without compromising product quality
• Receive merchandise following establishment procedures
• Ensure that product is properly stored
• Thorough knowledge of dairy and frozen department operations and its products
• Maximizing sales through excellent guest service and minimizing shrink through proper utilization of procedures
• Display a nice, energetic, creative, and motivated attitude at all times
• Assists all department team members with daily responsibilities while leading by example to help ensure a safe, clean, and productive operation
• Perform other duties as assigned
