Deputy Manager / Manager - Design @ Mahathi Infra Services

The person should have B.Tech or B.E. Degree in Mechanical engineering disciplines and minimum 8-12 Years of Deputy Manager or Manager experience in Oil & Gas Projects (Preferably Hydrocarbons Storage Tanks should have a knowledge of API 650).

Job Description:
Designing & Detail Engineering of Storage tanks & Pipelines in Oil & Gas.
Design calculation to be carried out for Storage tanks & Pipelines in Oil & Gas, Water and Thermic Fluid Heaters.
Evaluates mechanical and electromechanical systems and products by designing and conducting research programs; applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, heat transfer and materials.
To estimate total weight of all components (for product rate estimation) for costing purpose.
To estimate total required material for specific thickness & length from drawings & manage cutting layout with optimum use of material/plates.
TO prepare material take off sheets.
Analysis requirements as per API 650, IS: 803 and other relevant standards.
Confirms system and product capabilities by designing feasibility and testing methods; testing properties.
Develops mechanical and electromechanical products by studying customer requirements; researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials; soliciting observations from operators.
Develops manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for fabricating, building, assembling, and installing components.
Assures system and product quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and system capabilities confirming fabrication, assembly, and installation processes.
Prepares product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Completes projects by training and guiding technicians.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Thorough Knowledge in Codes of API 650, 620, 653 & relevant ASME SECTIONS Standards.
Should be able to go through client requirements and provide necessary solutions.
