Job Description
Position: Detailer/DraftsmanLocation: Hyderabad
Responsibilities:
Able to study client specifications and general notes and send a request for information (RFI) due to any conflict if any.
Prepare IFA (Issued for Approval) packages containing GA drawings layout, 2D model, etc; to be sent to the client for approval.
Responsible for preparing full set of GA drawings for PEB with consideration of both shop and site capabilities and requirements., including single part drawing and marking numbers according to the required system.
Responsible for preparing full set of approval drawings for all related components.
Apply connections to the 3D model according to the connection design provided by Design department or client's standard connection design.
Able to prepare the best nesting arrangement and prepare material take off for procurement activities.
Thoroughly understand customer specifications, drawings, bill of quantities & other related documents and analyze/interpret their underlying/implied intent.
Required Skills:
Advanced knowledge of CAD and AutoCAD software.
Advanced knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering and architecture.
Knowledge of safety and structure regulations.
Excellent design skills.
Good communication skills.
A keen eye for aesthetics and detail.
Qualification & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or ITI Draftsmanship Certificate.
Should have 3-5 years of experience in the same field.
Should have experience in PEB projects.
Should have complete knowledge about drafting.
Should know to design and create 2D & 3D computer models of buildings from scratch.
