This group performs some or all of the following duties:
Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of a restaurant, bar, cafeteria or other food or beverage service
Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
Recruit staff and oversee staff training
Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance
Control inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices
Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed
Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
Negotiate arrangements with clients for catering or use of facilities for banquets or receptions.  

CDP & Executive Chef Job Summery:

Understands employee positions well enough to perform duties in employees absence or determine appropriate replacement to fill gaps.

Provides guidance and direction to subordinates, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance.

Utilizes interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others; advocates sound financial/business decision making; demonstrates honesty/integrity; leads by example.

Encourages and builds mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.

Serving as a role model to demonstrate appropriate behaviors.

Ensures property policies are administered fairly and consistently.

Reviews staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met.

Establishes and maintains open, collaborative relationships with employees and ensures employees do the same within the team.

Solicits employee feedback, utilizes an open door policy and reviews employee satisfaction results to identify and address employee problems or concerns.

Supervises and coordinates activities of cooks and workers engaged in food preparation.

Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to staff.

  • Admin Job Summery:
  • Development of short term and long term admin departmental plans, budgets and appropriate MIS and reporting processes.
  • Head of Admin. overseas office operations and Support Services staff for the mentioned office.
  • He/she works with the Office head to manage the office administration including creating and maintaining operations budgets and determine operational/procurement best practices making sure that the office runs efficiently and effectively.
  • Work closely with the operations, finance, HR, IT and other teams, for co-ordination of various organizations tasks and activities.
  • Formulating policies governing the admin activities and functions.
  • Ensure quality of services provided within the office are on par with prescribed company standards
  • Periodic evaluation of the admin strategy and plan to ensure alignment and high level of contribution to overall organizational effectiveness.
  • Duties & Responsibilities

    Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance with company policies

    Supervise administrative staff and divide responsibilities to ensure performance

    Manage agendas / travel arrangements / appointments etc. for the upper management

    Manage phone calls and correspondence (e - mail, letters, packages etc.)

    Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures

    Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data

    Track stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary

    Submit timely reports and prepare presentations / proposals as assigned

    Assist colleagues whenever necessary

    Do basic Accounting entries

    Skills Required

    Good communication and interpersonal abilities

    Good organizational and leadership skills

    Familiarity with office management.
