Job Description
WE are looking for Hardware Design Engineer for MNC in Bangalore
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of the R&D Improvement & Support team, should be able to perform following duties as assigned by Manager/Leads to support the teams goals but not limited to the following:
o Understanding of hardware design & requirements of the system/product
o Support in investigation of production and field issues/failures
o Understand the technical issues and support in root cause analysis. o Collaborate with engineering and production to provide solutions.
o Work on closures as per guidance
o Own and execute mitigations for components obsolescence/supply chain issues:
o Provide timely solutions to prevent production stop situations o Identify alternate component based on design requirements & component specification/datasheet comparisons
o Perform evaluation & testing as needed for alternate qualifications
o Perform necessary hands-on testing at circuit level / module level / product level to evaluate the hardware performance for identified HW design changes.
o Work on circuit simulations, schematics entry, BOM management and PCB layout reviews as needed.
o Support in HW design change implementations through ECO
o Support in new feature developments, compliance testing and country registrations for products in production.
o Production testing Support in fixture and tools development needed for production
o Do design and test documentations for the developed design.
o Work efficiently with cross functional and production teams to deliver the assigned task/project with quality within the timelines.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION:
o BE/Btech/ME/Mtech in Electrical/Electronics/Biomedical engineering or equivalent o Minimum 1 to 3 Years of experience in Hardware design.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCY:
Strong in fundamentals of Analog and digital electronics
o Familiar with the concepts of Microcontrollers / Microprocessors operation and the hardware requirements for designing circuits using them.
o Basic understanding of power management systems DCDC (Buck/Boost) and LDOs
o Knowledge of hardware design for communication protocols like UART, SPI, I2C, RS232, USB o Proficient in component selection for circuit design
