Inviting applications for the role of ETL Developer with Oracle DB and UNIX
Responsibilities
- Work as ETL Developer with strong programming skills on Informatica ,Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL and Unix
- Python, AWS are optional capabilities and are good to have in the candidate.
- Will be required to do analysis and provide estimation based on business requirements from customer
- Passionate about delivering tactical and strategic solutions to support the banks trade data consolidation platform.
- The individual will be part of an Agile team working closely with team members in India and US.
- Perform new development and provide system support as required for the project.
- Will be expected to own the tasks assigned to you starting from requirement gathering to production deployment and monitoring.
Qualifications/Minimum qualifications
- BE/B Tech/ MCA with
- Primary skills required with extensive experience on Oracle Database, PL/SQL, functions, triggers, procedures etc.
- Strong on SQL and Analytical function
- Good hands on experience on Unix shell Perl scripting
- Experience in developing data feeds or ETLs using Informatica PowerCenter version 10.x
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to interface with a number of technical, business side cross functional teams.
- Strong work ethic, self-driven, ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Experience or exposure to cloud platform and python 3.x is a plus.
- Preferable to have someone with a solid understanding of the financial markets data
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of versioning tools like GIT, SVN and AWS services with architectural knowledge
- Experience on python programming
- Creative ways of solving problems efficiently and logically
- Experience on visualization tool like Qlik View, PowerBI.
- Prior working experience in the financial services industry; specifically, on Investment Banking.
