Job Description
Job opening for Lead Operations and M&E for reputed Education Sector at Worli, Mumbai.
Objective: Provide overall operational and leadership support for our organization.
Strategy
- Create a plan on delivering a high-quality program
- Strategizing the number of team members required for the project
- Identify and fill in the gaps to increase the quality of the program
Operations and M&E
- Creating robust operational systems for the team
- Monitor the implementation against the plans
- Setting processes and systems for maintaining an integrated database to generate timely data to enable decision making.
- Monitoring the program on a timely basis
- Work with team and externals to ensure high quality of the program
Communication
- Responsible for effective communication of the program, to stakeholders and management
- Liaison and partner with relevant government authorities
- Ensure the government education department is updated at all times
People Management
- Capacity building for the team
- Review the teams performance and work on improvisations for them
- Collaborate with the team
- Provide guidance and support to the team
- Provide administrative support
Education Qualification:
Masters in Social work, Education or other relevant post graduate degree
Required Skills and Knowledge Areas:
- Work Experience of 4 to 5 years in the development sector or CSR
- Quality experience in the Education sector is preferred
- Candidate should have a high passion for educational change
- Should have very good communications skills
- Project planning and management acumen
- Ability to recruit and manage a high performing team
- Good Leadership qualities such as motivation, collaboration, and stakeholder expectation management
- Prior experience in managing relationships with government authorities will be preferred
