Job Description
:- The update of the accounting records from the information and documentation made available.
- The reconciliation of all major control accounts, the preparation of notes and draft management reporting for review by the portfolio supervisor.
- The preparation of UK VAT and related returns.
- Provision of any related administrative requirements.
- Ensuring that all assignments are carried out within specified timeframes.
- Ensuring delivery of reporting in line with client / HM Revenue & Customs / statutory deadlines.
- Ensuring that all hours worked on assignments are correctly recorded.
- Outsourcing manage updates on progress and reporting
- Clients obtaining and clarifying information
- Ensuring work is performed to standards required and completed within specified timescales
- Work to budget
- Dealing with technical aspects and obtaining advice from other team members and other internal resources as appropriate.
- Limited all technical and client related decisions to be discussed with the outsourcing manager
- Bookkeepers the use of resources as appropriate to the client assignment
- Administration staff scanning and related administrative duties
Key Skills:
- 3 years + experience within Management Accounts / Bookkeeping team.
- Must have experience of working in a practice environment.
- Excellent bookkeeping skills and fully experienced in the preparation of UK VAT, related returns and management reporting
- Completely conversant in the use of Xero / QBO / Sage Line 50, Word and Excel. Experience in the use of DSAP, Navision and Microsoft Dynamics will be advantageous.
- Good knowledge of UK VAT and related legislation.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Organisation/time management skills.
- Communication good written, verbal and active listening skills.
- Confident when dealing with clients and getting your views across.
- Methodical and logical thinking.
- Team player.
- Use initiative to identify problems and provide solutions.
- Experience: - 3+ Years
- Education: - Bachelor's degree is a must.
- Salary Bar: - UPTO 11.00 LPA (Negotiable for best)
- Location: - WFH.
- Timing: 12:30 PM to 10:00 PM (Winter) | 01:30 PM to 11:00 PM (Summer timings)
