Job Description

Independently lead computer-aided design (CAD) for new and existing products.
Design and develop mechanical parts using Autodesk Inventor to create new CAD models.
Create assembly drawings and detailed notes for manufacturing team and construction team.
Support the implementation and enhancement of engineering change orders (ECO) using the Autodesk Vault application
Ensure compliance with required design standards, design manuals, safety factors, geometric tolerancing, customer specifications, engineering specifications and marketing standards.
Evaluate tolerance stack-ups to insure proper fit of components and proper application of GD&T techniques.
Work closely with the Global Technical Manager to implement: i) elements of design for manufacturability (DFM); ii) design for assembly (DFA); and design for operation (DFO)
Interact frequently with the Global Sales teams to understand the customer's requirements and deliver meeting the objectives.

Desired Skills & Qualification:

Experience in Design & engineering preferably in Mining, Bulk Material Handling, Heavy Engineering Domains
Excellent interpersonal communication skills with an ability to effectively communicate with international clients
