Job Description
Job Profile -
- Delivering a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within time frame.
- Identify and mitigate tax risks.
- Manage tax provision and tax compliance process.
- Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices.
- Direct Tax - TDS - working, payment, Return, 26AS Reconciliation, Income Tax Assessment, Foreign Remittance & taxes, etc.
- Indirect Tax - 2A Reconciliation, GST Audit related work, Assisting in Audit query.
- All other additional work related to Direct & Indirect Tax.
- Labour Law - PF, ESIC - Payment & Reconciliation.
- Responsible for government liaisoning work related to all Hotel & Restaurants Licenses - Electrical, Fire & Safety, Food Handlers, Repair & maintenance, Operations, property tax etc.
- Organizing all the paperwork related to the liaising work.
- Drafting emails and letters related to the liaising work.
- Giving regular updates to seniors and directors for the work.
- Maintain relationships with the officials and others for the liaising work.
Candidate Profile -
- 5+years of experience in similar role
- Must have good exposure in Direct and Indirect Taxation (Advisory & Litigation).
- Have in-depth knowledge of the provisions of income tax, handling scrutiny assessment, liaising with the tax department for pending refunds, preparation of petitions/ replies/Written Submission, appeal matters, search matters, opinion on taxation issues.
- Excellent communication skills oral and written
- Excellent networking, negotiation and presentation skills required.
