Job Description
Talend Developer, Consultant
As a Developer you need to lead our design and build efforts in our ETL/Talend and MS SQL environment. The team develops and operates a web-based enterprise level application for financial transaction matching.
Responsibilities
- Create technical specs, code and configuration
- Executes and supervise tests
- Design end to end solution architecture and guide development teams in complex requirements
- Actively responsive to customers and mitigate issues such as product feature deficiencies and other objections
- Upgrade and Install Talend software plan and execute patches, minor and major release upgrades
- Manage ETL s refreshes and monitoring, migrations
- Work closely with data architects and suggest configuration and process changes to improve the reliability, scalability and supportability of the ATM solution.
- Maintain scripts and documentation related to Product suite
- Continuously improve ETL and data processes
Qualifications
Minimum qualification
- Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or in STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) or equivalent
- Solid IT work experience in the operations or development areas for databases and ETL processes, using SQL and Talend technology
- Experience with large projects and working with global teams in an English-speaking work environment
Preferred qualifications
- Talend server installation and configuring/ administration
- SQL system migration and upgrade experience are advantages
- Good knowledge in the financial domain is a great plus
- Strong Analytical skill and communication skills
- Ability to self-learn and teach more junior team members
- Tolerance uncertainties, ability to take measured risk
