Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities Power Platform and SharePoint Developer

• Liaising with UI/UX designs and business analysts to design and Implement solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform, including Common Data Service (CDS), Power Platform (Apps, Virtual Agent, Flow)
• Design and Develop workflows in Power Automate to automate technical/business processes.
• Connect data from different sources like SharePoint, SQL or Dataverse in PowerApps.
• Assess suitability for solutions in SharePoint Online and the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
• Designing, prototyping, and supporting of testing, development and refactoring end-to-end applications on ever-changing modern technology platforms in public/hybrid cloud environments.
• Use multiple OOTB Connectors with PowerApps and Flow, and preferably create custom connectors for PowerApps and Microsoft Flow.
• Re-write and re-engineer custom legacy applications to PowerApps solutions.
• Address and remediate security vulnerability findings in PowerApps.
• Create documentation for projects including design, asset inventory, diagrams, and presentations as well as documentation of the environment and deployment for our support and future implementations teams.
• Communicate proposed designs and progress on the work to customers, team leads, and team members.

Skills Required

• Demonstrated project experience developing solutions using the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate / Flow, Power BI)
• Should have working knowledge on SharePoint Framework (SPFx) and SharePoint Online, SharePoint Add-in Model (Provider and SharePoint hosted add-ins)
• Client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery and Rest API
• Experience with the integration of Power Platform and Microsoft Teams is considered an asset
• (Nice to Have) Should have good understanding and knowledge of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as AngularJS, ReactJS, Bootstrap etc.
• (Nice to Have) Experience with API or services integrations and a firm understanding of implementing solutions with multiple data sources.
