Quality Analyst / Software Testing - Lead

Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead QA initiatives in managing QA teams and contributing to the testing effort in a hands-on role Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables. Backend database testing including validations. Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plan. Develop, document and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like the test data, data validation, harness scripts and automated scripts. Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results. Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members. Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management. Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements. Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes. Provide guidance and mentoring to team members Participate in technical discussions within the team and with other functions and groups across Business Units associated with specified projects and quality improvement initiatives

Desired Candidate Profile
7+ years of experience in Software testing with atleast 5 years of experience in Manual testing Strong written and verbal communications skills Strong people management, project management, interpersonal communication and collaboration skills. Proven track record of delivering high quality products. Expert at QA methodologies, tools and approaches
